Trelise Cooper joined forces with Progressive Enterprises to create New Zealand’s first designer eco-bag in 2008. A limited edition of fifty thousand of these colourful alternatives to traditional green eco-bags are made every year and are available in supermarkets nationwide.

ReDesign of Trelise Cooper Online to include:

A collaboration with renowned New Zealand artist Max Gimblett translating his works on paper into hand-knotted area rugs.

In 2016 Trelise Cooper relaunched her childrenswear line as ‘Little Trelise’. I worked to create the initial branding and labels while the team finished the packaging and promotional material.

Lucy Tupu wanted a fun way to show various objects of inspiration she has collected over the years on Instagram. Inspired by the ever colorful style of Jessica Walsh, I photographed the objects from above and added bright backgrounds so regardless of the object or theme they would all work together when the hashtag was clicked.

Development of an logo that would be versatile for a range of applications (side of frame monogram, wipe cloth, packaging etc) and also worked with the existing Trelise Cooper brand aesthetic.

Each year Trelise Cooper creates seasonal collections for each brand, Trelise Cooper, Cooper, Curate and Coop. These are a sampling of the catalogues and look-books created to promote the collections to wholesalers and instore.

Working under my fellow designer's guidance, we created and merchandised the Trelise Cooper Eyewear stand at the Auckland Gift Fair 2016. We collaborated with labourers to create the stand layout, wall panels, flooring, floral chandeliers, cabinets, boxwood hedges, posters and designed seasonal eyewear lookbooks.

With a bomber jacket, blinging bow tie and miniature Trelise Cooper glasses, Jack the monkey is undeniably king of the concrete jungle.

The hand-painted daisy print is from the 2016 Trelise Cooper Winter collection and features a strong element of red to bring good fortune during Chinese New Year. The fully functioning lamp was for a charity auction and was sold to an overseas bidder for $2700.

A life in the design world filled with briefs described as 'same same but different' leads to the feeling of being a design fraud. Reverse engineering designs can show what makes them successful and lead to fresh new ideas, but at what point does 'same same' become plagiarism?

'Design Fraud' is a light-hearted personal on-going project into inspiration versus copying, the grey area of copyright in design and what originality means in the age of the internet.
